About CLAI

The Center for Long-term Artificial Intelligence (CLAI) is a transdisciplinary research organization dedicated to exploring Artificial Intelligence technologies and their contemporary and long-term impacts on society and ecology. CLAI aims to contribute to developing the science and technology of AI, its consensus, standards, and policies in both domestic and international arenas, actively promoting a Harmonious Symbiosis Future for Humanity, AIs, and Ecology. The primary research areas encompass technological and policy studies of AI, AI Ethics and Governance, AI Safety and Security, AI for Sustainable Development Goals, AI for Peace, etc. All the research conducted at CLAI is based on open resources and we devote ourselves to serving the global public good.
